What is Regenerative Medicine?

Regenerative Medicine (RM) is a biomedical approach to clinical treatment, which involves a process of replacing or regenerating damaged or lost human tissue.  Regenerative Medicine is applied in chronic pain conditions by precisely injecting platelet rich plasma (PRP) and/or stem cells using Ultrasound or Fluoroscopic (X-ray) guidance into degenerative joints and damaged soft tissue in order to facilitate healing and restore normal anatomy and function.

What is a stem cell?

What is platelet-rich plasma (PRP)?

Platelet-rich plasma is the liquid component of your blood called plasma, and the rigid cells that help it clot, called platelets. It contains a plethora of growth factors and mediators, produced by centrifuging a large volume of the patients own blood into fractionated portions of plasma (PRP) and waste, which is discarded. PRP injections can help promote the repair process of joint injuries and relieve inflammation.
